Guten Tag! If you are a current undergraduate student at Shippensburg and would like to be considered an active member of the German Club and put on the roster, please message the club! We are in the process of switching organizational tools and must resubmit all of our documents to Ship! Vielen Dank!
Shippensburg University German Club
The German Club is a student run organization with the primary goal of supporting interest in the German language, history, and culture.
No prior knowledge of the language is required to join, but if you do speak German, you will find many club members on different levels to practice and converse with in an informal setting. The club consists of monthly meetings, movie nights, and other German cultural events that are organized by club members.

The Stasi at the fall of the GDR (East Germany) began to destroy all their files on the surveillance of their citizens. Five years following the fall of the GDR, 40 individuals came together to begin piecing the "puzzle" together. People continue to work until this day, just not in the same numbers. Mathematically speaking, this project will take longer than 400 years to finish.
