Tikes and Tots Family Child Care Tikes and Tots Family Child Care opened in January of 1991. State licensed to provide child care for children age 6wks-10yrs. and 10 yrs.

Satellite Accredited child led program. Tikes and Tots Family Child Care is owned and operated by Tara Ebben. Tara was licensed by the State of Wisconsin in December of 1991 in Neenah, WI to provide care for children between the ages of 6 wks. before moving to Shiocton in September of 1999. Tikes and Tots Family Child Care offers children the consistency of one caregiver throughout their preschool

years in a safe loving learning environment. Tikes and Tots Family Child Care offers a preschool curriculum, story time and circle time everyday, field trips, art, provided meals and snacks, and lots of fun. Tara is involved in many child care groups and organizations as well.

💦☀️ What a fun water play day! ☀️💦

We were so excited to get the pools out in the driveway today and enjoy lots of splashing and water fun! Before we finished, the kiddos were great helpers and watered Miss Tara’s plants for her too. 🪴💦

We enjoyed part of our lunch outside before heading inside to finish. We also squeezed in some learning today, matching uppercase and lowercase letters, practicing writing our names on the wipe off boards, and reading some books about going to school. ✏️📚

And of course, we had a very special birthday to celebrate! 🎉 We celebrated LVDL’s 1st birthday with some yummy ice cream cups since tomorrow is her Gma day! 🍦🥳

Such a fun day filled with water, learning, helping, and celebrating! ❤️

I just realized it’s been a couple of days since I last posted! We have been busy, busy little bees around here! 🐝💛

We’ve been soaking up lots of outside time riding bikes, playing with trucks, digging in the sandbox, coloring with sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, and so much more! ☀️🚲🫧 Yesterday we even pulled out our wrecking ball for some extra fun! 😂

We are loving these beautiful summer days and are excited for even more fun outside today! ☀️💕

I just gathered up some gift cards to donate to the families in the Fox Valley who were affected by the recent tornadoes. 🌪️❤️

I’ll be sending them with the Rohm family tonight to pass along to their Gigi, who is helping lead the donation drive.

If any of our day care families have gift cards they would like to donate, please bring them today and I’ll make sure they get included! Gift cards can be for anywhere… gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, Target, Walmart, Amazon, or anywhere else. Every little bit can help a family as they work to recover and rebuild. ❤️

Yesterday was another fun day filled with play, learning, and lots of smiles! We stayed busy exploring upstairs, downstairs, in the fenced play area, and even out in the driveway. The AirToobz were definitely a favorite again, along with so many other activities that kept little hands and minds busy all day long.

Miss Tara even offered to get the play dough out, but everyone was having so much fun with what they were already doing that nobody wanted to stop and with it! 😊 We also had a special friend join us for the day, which made the day even more exciting.

It’s always so much fun watching these kiddos learn through play and enjoy every minute together! ❤️

Today was another great day of learning, playing, and making memories! ❤️

We spent the day enjoying both inside and outside play, making the most of every opportunity to explore and have fun. One of the biggest hits today was our light play! With the lights off in the playroom and the cloudy skies giving us the perfect amount of natural light, the kiddos had so much fun experimenting with flashlights, shadows, and all the glowing fun. It was amazing to watch their curiosity and imaginations at work!

We wrapped up the day with some dance party fun, laughter, and lots of smiles. These simple days are often the very best! ☁️🔦✨

What a fun filled Monday! We stayed busy from start to finish and packed so much into one day!

We celebrated BE’s 4th birthday with some yummy popsicles, cooled off in the splash pad, had a blast playing with shaving cream, and even gave our bikes a “car wash!” We made delicious S’mores snack mix, experimented with mixing colored water, danced our hearts out at a dance party, and some of our friends even had time to make a bug project. The rest of our friends will complete theirs tomorrow.

There was lots of laughter, learning, creativity, and fun all day long. We can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow brings! ☀️🎉🚲💦🎨

Not a lot of photos today, but we definitely packed a whole lot of fun into our day! ☀️💛

We spent time both inside and outside enjoying all kinds of adventures. We were excited to meet some new friends who will be joining our day care family on September 1st, and we can’t wait to welcome them back! 🥰

Today we created colorful pictures with Bingo daubers, danced our hearts out, ran and played, rode bikes, colored with sidewalk chalk, and were thrilled to have our construction cones back for lots of imaginative construction play. 🚲🌈🚧

It was another wonderful day full of learning, laughter, and friendship. We’re looking forward to another fun filled day tomorrow with Ms. Lora! ❤️

What a fun Tuesday! ☀️💛 We packed our day with lots of outside play, learning, and adventures. The kiddos had a blast riding bikes, zooming around on the scooters, playing in the rocks and mud, coloring beautiful masterpieces with sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, and catching bugs. 🛴🚲🫧🐞

There is so much learning that happens through play, from building gross motor skills and coordination to encouraging creativity, problem solving, and curiosity about the world around us. We are soaking up these beautiful summer days and making the most of every minute together! 🌞❤️
