Shinnston High School Alumni Association Official page of the Shinnston High School Alumni Association, organized in 1912 to sponsor social activities for the alumni of SHS.

Since 1912, the Shinnston High School Alumni Association, Inc., has been sponsoring reunions, dances, banquets and other social activities for the alumni of Shinnston High School. If you are a graduate of or ever attended SHS, you're invited to join our organization. The association sponsors a reunion for all classes every four years on the third weekend of July. The next all-classes reunion will

take place in 2016. The group meets monthly during reunion years and twice a year on off-years. Current officers:

HAIL to all SHS ALUMNI. The ALUMNI BOARD is having an open meeting for all alumni on OCT 20, THURS, 6:00p at the BICE-FERGUSON MUSEUM, 400 Pike St SHINNSTON. Decisions need to be made concerning future gatherings. If you don’t get involved, you can’t complain—simple as that! Come on out, we won’t bite! Let’s plan an entertaining gathering for 2023!

On Sat, Sept 18, the SHS CLASS OF 1960 held their reunion. The class began their day visiting The Bice-Ferguson Museum & The SHS Alumni Room. Many, many “remember when” stories were told by old friends and classmates.
At 6pm the reunion continued in downtown Shinnston @ The American Legion with more reminiscing & a wonderful meal served by the ladies auxiliary.
There were 14 graduates plus their escorts in attendance with some traveling in as far as Texas, Florida, & the Carolinas.
