It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of very special member of our school staff, Mrs. Melissa Gomez, a truly cherished member of our Shiner ISD family.

Each and every day, Mrs. Melissa lovingly and faithfully cared for our school, working hard to make the halls and classrooms welcoming and beautiful for our students and teachers each morning.

Mrs. Melissa’s dedication for the school, students, and other staff members will never be forgotten.

Today, we pause to recognize the difference she made in our school and we are grateful for her lasting impact and care she poured into Shiner ISD.

Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences are with Melissa’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Her time with her school family was deeply appreciated, respected, and her impact will forever remain in the halls of Shiner ISD.
