SWITCHED brings you dinner, gender-swapped musical theatre performances, a silent auction, and the reveal of another show coming to the SFA stage!

SFA is casting our January 2027 production of CABARET — from principal roles to the dancers and entertainers of the Kit Kat Club.

And yes… bring your dancing shoes.

Every audition session on September 13 includes an individual vocal audition and group dance call.

Looking for a principal role? Come audition.

Love to sing and dance? We want to see you.

A strong mover with a bold personality? There may be a place for you at the Kit Kat Club.

Looking for something different? Our immersive Berlin Ensemble is seeking performers and specialty talents, too.

What happens when some of musical theatre’s favorite songs get a little… SWITCHED?

Here’s what you’ll hear September 26:

🎵 “Me” — Beauty and the Beast
🎵 “Tonight at Eight” — She Loves Me
🎵 “Stepsister’s Lament” — Cinderella
🎵 “You’ll Be Back” — Hamilton
🎵 “Hey, Little Songbird” — Hadestown
🎵 “She Used to Be Mine” — Waitress
🎵 “Diva’s Lament” — Spamalot

But who’s singing what? That’s where the SWITCH comes in. Over the coming days, we’ll reveal the performers taking on each of these songs—and some of these pairings may surprise you.

And the concert is only part of the night! SWITCHED is a full benefit evening supporting Sherwood Foundation for the Arts, featuring:

What an incredible journey. 💙

Tonight we say farewell to Once Upon a Mattress. Thank you to every audience member who laughed with us, applauded with us, and chose to support live community theatre. Your attendance means so much more than filling a seat—it helps keep the arts alive right here in Sherwood.

To our cast, orchestra, crew, volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes: thank you for sharing your time, talent, and heart to tell this story.

And to our community…thank you for believing in what we do. We can’t wait to welcome you back for the next story.
