Parent Workshop: Dealing with Grief for Elementary Students: Monday, October 26, at 6:00 pm: We are fortunate to have a children's specialist from Arkansas Children's Hospital to share strategies for helping students to deal with grief. Grief comes in many forms including death, natural disasters, and divorce. Please come to understand how we can help our students. We will have door prizes for attendees.

Second and Third Grade Families,

Mark your calendars for November 3! Our students have been busy preparing for Oakbrooke's Autumn Performance and Art Show, and we're excited for them to share their hard work with you. Come enjoy an evening of music, creativity, and some wonderful student artwork! Your child's teacher will also have an activity for you in the classrooms as well!

🎶 2nd Grade Performance: 6 PM, Art Show & Academic Classroom Activity: 6:15-7:00 pm
🎶 3rd Grade Performance: 7 PM; Art Show & Academic Classroom Activity- 7:15-8:00 pm

Performances will be held in the cafeteria, and student artwork will be displayed up the hill near the art room. Families can enjoy the artwork before or after their child's performance.

We look forward to seeing our Oakbrooke families there!

🥇 Mrs. Montgomery – 5th Grade (33.3%)

🥈 Mrs. Browning – Pre-K (30%)

🥉 Mrs. Liddell – 2nd Grade (28%)

Ms. Espinda's 5th grade class is right behind them at 27.8%!
Memberships are just $8! The winning class earns a popsicle party, and PTA members are entered into a drawing for a Skip-the-Carline Pass and for their student to help Dr. Truslow with morning announcements!

Let’s go bowling and playing on the playground! 4th & 5th grade students who scored two or more 3’s/4’s on their 2026 ATLAS tests were treated to bowling and Lake Willastein. We even took 6th graders last night bowling! We love our Bobcat learners! 💛💙

Oakbrooke Parents: PCSSD has an early dismissal day on Monday, October 19 at 11:30 a.m. for elementary schools. There are Parent Conferences that evening from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with requests coming home soon from your child's teacher for your time. Thank you.
