I respect government agencies, but how can I uphold something when it harms the people?

Think about it, when people are on disability it is apparent that they are unable to work an 8 hour job, be flexible in that job (which means- when they wake up hurting, sick or unable to move, calling in can become repetitive, which is gonna eventually lead to termination) why would you make it a requirement for someone to obtain a 8 hour/15.00 an hour job when it could cause them to lose their disability?
