Lisa Saklofsky Wright has been an employee for the Sherwood School District for 25 years and a union member for 24 years. Lisa was an OSEA worksite organizer/building representative for many years. "I am very passionate about union representation and being an active participant in the Sherwood OSEA Chapter.," Lisa shared. She served on our union chapter's board for 6+ years, 2 of those years as president. "I encourage all classified employees to be involved in the Union as it is there to serve and protect our members." Lisa's two children attended Archer Glen starting in 1995. When she heard that the administrative assistant position was available, she applied and began her journey working for the Sherwood School District. She worked at Archer Glen from 2001-2009 and then moved to Edy Ridge Elementary which then became Ridges Elementary. When asked what she would miss the most, Lisa answered, "The camaraderie with my peers and working with the students. " She is looking forward to getting up in the morning without setting an alarm and just relaxing. She plans on spending time on her property, gardening and cleaning things up. She hopes to sell it in a few years. She intends on doing some traveling, hiking, reading, cooking and just enjoying the simple things in life with her family, friends and pets.

In 2003 after many years of volunteering in her children's classrooms, Connie Po***ck applied for a receptionist position at the high school and was hired. During her 22 years in the district, she has been a receptionist, an athletic secretary and an administrative assistant all at the high school. When asked what she is going to miss most about working in the Sherwood schools, Connie said that she would miss the people she works with. "I am excited to go but sad to leave my Bowmen family." She is looking forward to spending time with her husband and family and going fly fishing. Connie and her husband will list their home here this spring. She will then move to Ennis, Montana where her husband is already living. They plan on building on the property they own in Ennis. We wish Connie the best of luck and thank her for her 19 years as an OSEA union member. She will be missed.

Pam Hohnbaum has been an OSEA member for 32 years. She is Chapter 103's longest standing member. When asked why she stayed in the union, she said, "I have enjoyed the backing of the union; that they stand up for all of us. That they go to bat for our contract. If you are thinking about joining..do it!" Chapter 103 would like to thank Pam for her continued support and steadfast dedication to her fellow classified employees.
