At Sherwood Charter School, we believe that Kindergarten is a magical place where children can explore, discover, learn, play, paint and sing! Friendship workshop helps us make and keep friends. We learn in an engaging, hands-on environment where what we learn is connected to the world around us.

We don’t believe that Kindergarten is some version of “mini first grade.” We don’t teach to the test. We don’t sit in rows.

It all starts with an exceptional teacher and a passion for making the first year of school amazing!

Celebration of Learning - Thursday, April 25th 6:30-8 pm
Bring the whole family and join us as we celebrate the 2018-2019 school year at our 5th annual Celebration of Learning event!

The Celebration of Learning is a fun way to see wonderful curriculum in every classroom and visit with SCS families! We will begin in the sanctuary in the main building with a short presentation, then families will be invited to tour through the classrooms.
