🦉✨ This week we focused on connection, gentle learning, and joy. ✨🦉
We welcomed new friends (with more joining soon!), explored familiar materials, practiced Spanish letters and Sign Language, enjoyed music and movement, created beautiful moments at our light table 🌈🦉, and celebrated our last water‑play week in the garden. 💦🌿

Our exploration theme was “This Is Me!” 🧡✨ The children observed themselves in our funny mirror — laughing at their shapes and expressions — and then created their own self‑portraits with so much personality. 🎨🦉

Now we’re ready to transition into our cozy Fall activities, full of nature, color, and exploration. 🍁🦉💛

A heartfelt thank you to our Teacher Emiliano, who spent several hours supporting our classroom — the children adore him and he brings so much calm and kindness.

Our nest is growing, and we are so grateful.

This week we had two beautiful and very special visits:
Miss B and Miss Harlow😍😍,
two of our former Little Owls who are now in first grade and kindergarten.
They came to spend the morning with our little ones — helping in class, playing, and sharing all their happy memories from their time here.

Miss B also gave them a mini-lesson—since she loves playing little teacher—and the children adored her.

It was a week full of joy, laughter, and sweet moments that remind us how wonderful it is to see our Owls grow.

We are so excited to welcome our new friends next week. Little Owls keeps growing with love, play, and community 💛🦉

🌼 Little Owls – Weekly Update 🦉💛
This week at Little Owls we spent time reviewing the letters we’ve learned, and of course enjoyed lots of games, laughter, and fun activities.

We practiced helping our friends, created colorful watercolor art outside in the beautiful weather!, and welcomed new friends into our preschool — Little Owls keeps growing and our hearts are full!

We also continued with our lifestyle/practical life activities, helping children build confidence through everyday skills:
• Pouring water from a small pitcher into a cup
• Transferring objects using spoons
• Using a screwdriver safely
• Practicing with keys and locks to open and close a padlock

Our current group is full, and we are now officially opening our waitlist for future openings. Children may join once they are 24 months or older and a spot becomes available.

Learning, playing, and growing together — that’s what every week looks like here 💛🦉

This week at Little Owls we turned our preschool into a cozy camp adventure!

We “slept” in our mini tent, splashed around with water play, and transformed our patio into a colorful art fair full of creativity and happy little artists.

We also had a special visitor — Juni spent the whole week with us and became such a sweet friend to everyone. The kids loved having her here.
Now we’re taking a few days of break to rest, recharge, and get ready for more fun learning soon.

Little Owls grows with imagination, friendship, and lots of joy 💛🦉and lot of Spanish 😉.
