I've been proud to fight for better safety, recognition, and funding for fire and EMS services across the country for the past 2 years as a member of the NAEMT Board and Advocacy Committee. We helped create a FREE national EMS leadership mentoring program and much more. I'd like to finish what I've started, so if you're an NAEMT member, please consider voting for or endorsing me in our upcoming elections. There's so much more to do!

About 9 months ago, I started working to better understand how firefighters can recognize and safely and effectively respond to vehicles powered by alternative fuels. I was amazed that this information was not already in one place. With the recent explosion injuring LAFD firefighters, I put together a couple of articles so I could share this information, including things like not putting water on CNG or LNG (cryogenic) cylinders. If you find this information useful to share, please do. https://www.fireengineering.com/firefighting/responding-to-alternative-fuel-vehicles-knowing-cng-is-not-enough/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=fe_daily_newsletter&utm_campaign=2023-02-28

Please share and use these and resources from my alternative fuel vehicle incident education program.
