Mrs. Gregory’s class completed their Personal Financial Literacy Unit this week! Students designed and painted their own food trucks after creating a business plan for the type of food they wanted to sell. They worked within a budget to decide on needs versus wants, purchased supplies for their trucks, and created menus.
To wrap up the project, students experienced what it was like to be both producers and consumers by partnering with another class to buy and sell items from their food trucks. This hands-on project was a fun and engaging way to bring financial literacy concepts to life. We are proud of our young entrepreneurs and all of their hard work!

Today we celebrated our amazing 5th grade Husky Leaders during their 5th Grade Walk. It is hard to believe these students are preparing to leave the halls of Sory and begin a new chapter in middle school. While we will miss their smiles, leadership, laughter, and the impact they have made on our campus, we are so proud of the young leaders they have become. We know they are going to do big things and continue to make a difference wherever they go. Once a Husky, always a Husky! ❤️💙🐾
