🎓✨ College & Career Week is coming to Sory! ✨🎓
SEPTEMBER 14th-18th

We are Beginning With the End in Mind and giving our families plenty of time to prepare for a fun week of dress-up days!

From September 14–18, our Huskies will spend the week thinking BIG about their futures and exploring the many paths ahead of them.

Monday: Military Monday – Wear camo or a military shirt
Tuesday: Your Future is Bright – Wear hats & sunglasses
Wednesday: College Spirit Day – Wear your favorite college shirt
Thursday: Trade Thursday – Dress for your future career
Friday: Leave Your Legacy – Wear your Sherman Bearcat pride!

We can’t wait to see our Husky leaders dreaming about who they want to become and the difference they can make!

SORY HUSKIES — LET’S SHOW UP FOR THE Sherman Education Foundation ARTS FEST!

The Sherman Education Foundation Arts Fest is coming up, and we want YOU on Team "Sory Elementary Husky Leaders"! 🐾

Come out for the Bubble Run or 5K and help us support an incredible organization that gives so much back to our students and schools!

📸 SORY TEAM PICTURE — 8:45 AM

All Sory Huskies, staff, students, and families can meet us by the starting line at 8:45 AM for a big Team Sory group picture!

🫧🏃 BUBBLE RUN STARTS — 9:00 AM

And there’s a little friendly competition! The campus with the highest participation earns bragging rights, AND staff will receive a FREE lunch from Bearcat Grill!

Let’s fill Team Sory with Husky families, staff, and friends and show Sherman how much our Huskies support education!

Our Sory Huskies were busy in PE this week! Students rotated through a variety of fun stations featuring Magnetiles, cup stacking, building challenges, and so much more!

These stations gave our Huskies opportunities to move, create, problem-solve, practice coordination, and work together, all while having a GREAT time!

We love seeing our students engaged, active, and building skills in so many different ways!

STAFF BATTLE OF THE AX POTLUCK!

Our Sory staff started the Battle of the Ax celebration a little early today with a staff potluck!

Our team brought all kinds of delicious treats to share, and we even had Mr. Hartman working his magic on the grill! A little good food, lots of laughs, and plenty of Bearcat spirit made for the perfect pre-game celebration!

Now we’re fueled up and ready to cheer on our Bearcats tonight!
