We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Liz Paoli has been named our Teacher of the Year! 🏆🍎

As our 6th-8th grade Social Studies teacher, Ms. Paoli brings history to life every single day. She doesn't just teach the past; she inspires our middle schoolers to be critical thinkers, engaged citizens, and compassionate leaders for the future. Her dedication to her students and her passion for education make Sherman School a better place.

We are SO PROUD to announce that the Sherman School MS Concert Band placed 1st among all of the concert bands competing at the Fantastic Festivals 2026 event! In addition, our Jazz Band earned Platinum status and our Chorus earned the highest score in our history, earning Gold! Congratulations to Mr. Carlone and Mr. Trinchillo and all of our band and choral students! To have such an achievement while under the constraints of a temporary school is a testament to the quality and resilience of our music program. Kudos!

Dear Families Of Bus 5 Students,

The bus company has notified us that there is a wire down on Wakeman Hill that is impacting the bus route and Chapel Hill is now closed. Students will need to be picked up from the intersection of Cozier and Rte 37 this morning at approximately 8:00 AM.

***IMPORTANT ***Bus Disruptions will occur this morning due to road closures in Sherman. Roads closed include Quaker, Brinsmaide, Edmund, Church, Hardscrabble, and Parker. You can get to Highview on Edmund. We are working with the bus company now to understand specific disruptions, but Sherman High School Bus 2 will be the most impacted. Students will need to come out to Rte 39 or be picked up at the IGA this morning.
