Yesterday the Sherman Middle School and Piner Middle School beginner Orchestras traveled to their first competition at SUNFest! These students did so well and overcame some exceptional challenges. Piner walked away with an overall Superior score and Sherman Middle School walked away with an Excellent score! We received so many compliments on our students behavior and respect. I am so proud of each of them and their kindness, responsibility, and resilience. Thank you so much to our bus drivers and our parents who came along with us. None of this would have been possible without your willingness to jump in and help. There is no amount of thank you that can cover how appreciative myself and our students are to you. It was a sensational adventure!
