Today was the annual SHS Choir Officer Retreat. These amazing students worked together to plan activities to help all of the SHS Choir students feel welcome and a part of the SHS Choir family throughout the year. They also worked together through an interactive scavenger hunt, they played the traditional Choir Card game of Spoons, and more! It’s going to be a great year in SHS Choir, and a huge thank you goes to these officers!

On the eve of the first day of school, we wanted to acknowledge many SHS Choir members who worked diligently over the summer to prepare for the new school year and for auditions for the Texas All-State Choir. Programs like the Austin College Music Camp, the UNT All-State Choir Camp, the Texas A&M All-State Choir Camp, and the Colorado Vocal Institute were attended and performed in. Some of these programs, like the Colorado Vocal Institute, could only be attended by being accepted after an audition. We are proud of all of the SHS Choir members and their hard work this summer!
