Keep your kids learning, creating and having fun this summer with Sherman ISD Summer Camps! Elementary students can participate in enrichment and fine arts opportunities 🎨🎶, and we’ll host a CTE camp for middle school students to explore future career fields in July. 🩺⚙️

Today, Dr. Stella Yoon, who is a voice professor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, came to the Sherman High School choir room today to work with vocalists who qualified for State Solo & Ensemble. Students will compete on May 25 in the Austin area. Dr. Yoon gave a wonderful clinic for SHS choir members!

Incredible collaboration by the Sherman and Denison ISD Percussion studios tonight! The students were joined by the world famous Professor of Music in Percussion, Brian Zator, of East Texas A&M University. The concert was inspired and we are proud of all involved!

Way to go, Jazz Cats! Mr. Dickson had them sounding smooth!

Congratulations to the Sherman Middle School Theater students for your wonderful performance of Treasure Island last night! The SMS art students also took the opportunity to showcase their newest pieces in conjunction with the play. So many talented students doing so many outstanding things! Great job, everyone!

Today, the SHS color guard students participated at the NTCA Solo and Ensemble contest at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth. The guard had 4 soloists and 5 ensembles compete, and all 9 are coming home with 1st division ratings! The routines were 100% designed, choreographed, and rehearsed by the students. We are so proud of the hard work and creativity demonstrated by each student that competed today!
