Merdinian was proud to host the first session of AGBU’s AI Learning Initive. Educators from AGBU, Merdinian, and Hovsepian came together for a professional development session focused on AI literacy in education.
As artificial intelligence continues to shape the educational landscape, teachers explored strategies for identifying AI-generated work, understanding its impact on student learning, and addressing its use thoughtfully and effectively in the classroom.
Thank you to all who participated in this important conversation as we work together to prepare students for a rapidly evolving world.

Final stop. Final memories. 🇺🇸
Yesterday, our 8th graders stood before one of America’s greatest monuments! Mount Rushmore! Where history, leadership, and legacy are carved into stone.
Each president was chosen to represent a defining chapter of the American story:🇺🇸 George Washington — the birth of our nation🇺🇸 Thomas Jefferson — expansion and growth🇺🇸 Abraham Lincoln — preservation and unity🇺🇸 Theodore Roosevelt — development and progress
As our students close this chapter of middle school, we hope they leave inspired to lead with courage, vision, resilience, and purpose, just as these leaders once did.
What an unforgettable journey together through history, nature, friendship, and discovery. ❤️🦬🏔️

Day 4 of our 8th Grade Adventure brought us to the incredible Devils Tower National Monument — the very first U.S. National Monument, established in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt under the Antiquities Act. 🇺🇸
Standing beneath this breathtaking natural wonder, our students explored not only the science and geology behind the tower, but also its deep cultural and historical significance to many Native American tribes.
From learning about America’s commitment to preserving natural landmarks to experiencing the beauty of Wyoming firsthand, today was a day full of awe, discovery, and unforgettable memories.

Day 3 in Yellowstone 🏔️💚
Today our students were officially sworn in as Junior Park Rangers and explored the breathtaking Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Lower Falls! 🌲🌊
From learning about nature and conservation to witnessing God’s incredible creation up close, it was a day filled with adventure, wonder, and unforgettable memories. 🦬✨

At exactly 11:14 AM Monday morning, our students witnessed the incredible eruption of Old Faithful one of the world’s most famous geysers and a true natural wonder.
Did you know? Old Faithful erupts because underground water is heated by volcanic rock beneath the Earth’s surface. Pressure builds until steaming hot water bursts into the air, sometimes reaching heights of over 100 feet! 🌎💨
Experiencing science, history, and nature firsthand is what makes learning unforgettable. Our 8th graders are already making memories that will last a lifetime! 🦬🏔️
