On-Camera Commercial Acting Intensive: In addition to the above, I will give you an in-depth understanding of what takes place behind the scenes at commercial casting auditions. You will leave this Workshop with a well-rounded grasp of the inner-workings of the audition process that will free you from second-guessing and allow you to do your best work. Advanced Commercial Workshop: Taking What You Have Learned To The Next Level: In this 4-week Advanced Workshop, we will take your newfound skills and directly apply them until you no longer have to think about them logically, but embrace them organically. You will learn how to work with other actors in both group scenes and one-on-one, as well as explore both comedic and naturalistic copy, interpreting and taking direction from different clients and directors, navigating a highly choreographed audition (i.e. hitting your marks, reading your copy, dealing with props, interacting with other actors –all at the same time while maintaining the flow!). In addition, we will also recreate different auditioning scenarios and settings to challenge yourself further and get a feel for what it’s like to audition in the real-world! Demo Reel Editing: In addition to teaching Workshops, I also offer state-of-the-art editing services to actors ready to put together a Demo Reel of existing material. I work closely with you to make absolutely certain the reel best represents you. We will work together until YOU (and/or your agent) are satisfied. Weekly Workouts: The last thing you want is to get a call for a major audition and realize that you’re not ready. The longer you keep from practicing and enhancing your craft, the longer it will take you to get back to where you left off, never mind catching up to those who have worked consistently to keep their talents fresh, vibrant and expanding. Our focus is continued growth in an extremely safe environment for actors to explore and grow, but also to develop community, to openly engage with other actors, to find support and fiercely expand your network. Private Coaching: Film, TV, Theater, Commercials. Have an important audition coming up that you REALLY want to nail? Want to learn how to master large amounts of dialogue in a short time? Want to get past feeling anxious so you can do your best work? Have that rare audition coming up that you are uniquely PERFECT for? Not sure you understand the role or what is expected of you? Teen On-Camera Commercial Acting Intensive: In this 3-week Teen Workshop, we will cover similar ground as the Adult Workshop, but it will be geared specifically to those aged 13-16. Young actors will be given a detailed overview of the entire casting process from slating their names for the camera to booking a job. They will understand exactly what is expected of them as professionals in a competitive industry and they will also learn to have fun in the process. Kids On-Camera Commercial Acting Intensive: In this 4-week Kids Workshop, we will cover similar ground as the Adult Workshop, but it will be geared specifically to those aged 6-10. We will cover the do's and don't's of commercial auditioning as they specifically apply to those starting young. Over the course of 4 weeks, we will introduce your children to the exciting world of acting for the camera. From slating their names with confidence to learning how to act in commercials and exhibit their own unique personalities and talents, your children will have a blast seeing themselves on screen as they prepare themselves for real commercial auditions. In addition to educating and improving both the acting and auditiong skills your children, we will also take a portion of an evening to talk to parents about their role and the do's and don't's of having a child actor and how you can help them by fully understanding the landscape and needs of the commercial auditioning world and your role in it.

My acting class at the Frank Stein Studio here in Barcelona starts this coming Tuesday October 1. This is an 8-week class meeting once a week (3 hours every Tuesday, 4-7) and the class in is English.
Shooting a commercial with my dear friend and ex-student Rosa Maria Nokonoko Cuaresma! I am definitely enjoying working as an actor in Barcelona. Just another layer to the ongoing adventure. Booked two commercials this month. Let's see... Music photographer, acting teacher, writer, filmmaker, headshot photographer, actor, musician, starving artist, aging anti-imperialist... I should be much more tired than I am. 😂 While life remains challenging in a thousand different ways, I can never say it's boring!

This is a tough one for me. I don't like the idea of living in a world without Donald Sutherland in it. It's just that much less special. I didn't know the man and part of the sadness is in knowing that I won't ever get to meet or work with him. My admiration and respect for him as an actor remains endless. So many incredible roles and interpretations of the human experience. His face, body language, voice... they fill my memories and flood my emotions with intimate detail.
Glad to have shared some time on this planet with him, even if our paths never crossed. Sending love to his family and all those who admire his work as I do.
