✨Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has been a part of Sheridan FFA over the past 75 years!✨We are excited to see our Sheridan Oregon FFA Chapter celebrate this milestone throughout the coming year.

Did you know that this year marks the 75th Anniversary of our Sheridan FFA Chapter Activities, originally chartered in 1950? The first Official FFA Celebratory Banquet was held in 1951. Our students and our Advisor are looking forward to sharing this milestone year with the community through many activities and events, so please watch for lots of updates from our Chapter as we move into our upcoming school year! 💙💛

🏐🏈⚽️Virginia Garcia will be at Sheridan High School TOMORROW (Tuesday, August 25) offering sports physicals.
**SHS and FCS students are welcome.
**You do not need to be a current patient with their clinic.
**Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

On Wednesday, August 19 the Sheridan School Board made a decision to eliminate all sports fees for students who wish to participate in sports offered through Sheridan School District.
The Board sincerely hopes that this change will allow more of our students to experience the benefits of participating in athletics in Sheridan Schools. If you have already paid sports fees for this fall, our staff will be reaching out to discuss the donation/refunding of your fee.

📝Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will open from noon-7pm TOMORROW (Tuesday, August 11). ‼️REGISTRATION FOR BOTH SCHOOLS (SHS & FCS) WILL TAKE PLACE AT FAULCONER-CHAPMAN ON 8/11 DUE TO SHS PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION.‼️

✨New students to Sheridan Schools: Registration forms and packets will be available.
✨Returning students: Stop by or call to confirm your details and contact information.

📣Staff will also be available to answer questions on fall athletics and other programs.

🗓Can't make it Tuesday? Staff and registration materials will be available at both schools during normal office hours (9am-3pm, Monday-Friday) after August 11. The SHS parking lot will be open starting August 12.

Reminder:
The first day of school will be Monday, August 31 for grades K-6 and 9-12. 7th and 8th graders will start on Tuesday, September 1.

Work crews have now started on the main section of the SHS parking lot where the surface is being ground up and trucked away to prepare for paving before students and staff return later this month!🤩
Need to visit the District Office?
Please park on Bridge Street and enter through the Bridge Street doors for the next few weeks.
(District Office hours are 8-3pm, Monday-Thursday through August 21.)

🏐Sheridan Youth Volleyball Registration is Open!🏐

Registration is now open for girls entering 3rd–6th grade for the upcoming Sheridan Youth Volleyball season!

Program Details:
$50 registration fee
First come, first served registration
Teams are capped at 12 players
6th Grade Team – 12 spots available
5th Grade Team – 12 spots available
3rd/4th Grade Team – We currently have one blended team. If we are able to find one additional coach, we will open a second 3rd/4th grade team.

If your child is interested in playing, please complete the registration form using a valid email address. Follow-up information will be sent to the email provided.

We are also looking for another volunteer coach for our 3rd/4th grade program. If you're interested or would like more information, please reach out. We'd love to add another team!
