What makes a good long haul commercial horse shipper? One that is on time ,communicates with the customer during the route, especially if there are unforseen delays.A good Shipper cares for the welfare of the horses. And doesn't lie to the customer/ owners. A good shipper that has multiple rigs knows the roads and can calculate the estimated time of drop off after pick up. He knows two drivers are better than one.He knows horses should not be on the truck for 56 hours straight.
A bad shipper lies to the client.Leaves horses on the trailer indefinitely ( 56 hours for example) and tell the customer he doesnt care.
I have personally driven all over the US and have never been over 24 hours late.Even with a complete mechanical breakdown,I found other vehicles and drivers and got the horses to the drop off in a timely fashion.
Meet Marvin Yoder Horse Transport.
He is dishonest and doesnt care.
So I recommend you don't use him. Feel free to leave your comments
