Lions Mane Mushrooms Update:

As easy to grow using these systems as houseplants - maybe easier using the done for you spray and grow kits.

We will keep posting updates and show you how we harvest, properly dry, store and multiple uses for much less than buying typical Lions Mane supplements that mainly use just the mycelium in the ingredients.

Keeping a zero waste perpetual mushroom harvest going using the systems.

After a few flushes the mycelium block will have shrunken pulled away from the sides of the system from the mushrooms / mycellium consuming the growth medium.

At that point you can invert the system and slide out the fruiting block like I did here in the video, place on a plate or saucer and spritz the entire block to get additional flushes.

The system can then be cleaned, reloaded and prepared to grow another round of mushrooms… don’t worry we can teach you how.

To give you an idea of just how wide of an impact this winter storm will have... you can drive in a (relatively) straight line from Crockett County, TX to Aroostook County, ME (on the border of Maine and New Brunswick) and never be out of a Winter Storm Warning! 🌨️❄️

That is 2,120 Miles straight line distance and more if you kept going into New Brunswick which is also under winter storm warning.

LIons Mane Mushroom Grow Kit Update: 7 Days

The one on left is the 2nd flush after harvesting (see other videos) and is doing great.

The one on right is 1 at flush and 7 Days from opening the box and is alos growing great.

I am always truly stricken and fascinated by these and all mushrooms in the way they grow, the beauty at all stage from spore to mycelium to fruiting bodies and the known and yet to be discovered benefits to us and the planet.

Refilling with water and cold shocking for next flush.

Note: I was using water from my RO Faucet which is ran through a multi-process Filtering, RO process reverse osmosis system and also UV light sterilization. We suggest a similar or distilled water as sadly almost all public water supplies are suspect and contain chlorine, flourinses and various other bad guys for mushrooms and us.

Harvesting - Harvesting, weighing and preparing systems for 2nd flush.

* grew in on ideal (extremely dry conditions) workout using the provided humidity tent.

Day 6 -
Day 1 - opened box and filled with distilled water
Day 2 - emptied excess water and left uncovered
Day 3 - Spritzed with water
Day 4 - Spritzed with water
Day 5 - Spritzed with water
Day 6 - Filled with water as there are so many mushrooms they are using the moisture quickly.

** We have been growing these as a test in what would be considered non-ideal or even worst case situation without using the silicon humidity tent on a warm counter of 75 F with the furnace running (super dry environment) in winter and extremely low humidity.

The use of the included humidity tent would have definitely increased production and quality as well as prevented the moisture escaping and should of course be used BUT our goal on these was to see and show what happens in non-ideal but real life situations knowing that ideal or simply using the provided silicon storage / humidity tent would only make them better.
