The North Bullitt JROTC program had our annual compliance inspection from the KY Director of Army Instruction team.

We take a lot of pride in making sure our cadets have the best opportunities to succeed and become outstanding leaders.

Command Sergeant Major Hooper recognized a few of our cadets for their incredible leadership.

Alexia Espinoza: Raider Team Co-Captain. She was presented a DAI excellence arc.

Landon Johns: He was presented a DAI coin of excellence. Landon served as the commander of the color guard for the CTE conference over the summer.

Taryn O’Riley: She’s the Battalion Commander for our program. She was presented a DAI excellence medal.

We were honored to host our Marine Corps recruiters today during class.

GySGT Thompson and SSgt Hogan came by and discussed the benefits serving in the Marine Corps offers.

These outstanding leaders shared their personal testimony on how their service has impacted them personally and professionally.

Cadet Major Leo Cruz, our JROTC Operations Officer presented GySGT Thompson and SSgt Hogan JROTC Battalion coins.

Leo will officially begin his Marine Corps journey once he graduates in the spring.

The online store for the North Bullitt JROTC program is now open. The store will officially close on September 6th @ 11:59 PM.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for all purchased items to arrive.

All orders will be delivered to North Bullitt. We will pass out the orders once they arrive.

The North Bullitt cadets participated in a fun day of physical training, and we got to experience our obstacle course.

So many cadets really enjoy PT and getting outside and exercising on the obstacle course.

Flag Folding demonstration

The cadets were able to learn how to put the flag up and how to properly take the flag down. While providing a dignified and respectful ceremony.

We are honored the JROTC program provides this honorable service for the school.

We’re proud of how the cadets and our leaders honor the flag with such pride and professionalism.

The North Bullitt JROTC program would like to congratulate Madelyn Chandler on her recent enlistment in the United States Army with the KY National Guard.

Madelyn enlisted as a 35G ( Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst). These soldiers study aerial pictures, satellite data, and full-motion video to find enemy targets, map terrain, and support military missions.

She will depart for basic training once she graduates in the summer of 2027.

Madelyn is an extremely driven leader, as she is a phenomenal student leader for the North Bullitt community.

The Army will continue to be an incredible organization with leaders like Madelyn Chandler joining the ranks.

Thank you for your commitment to serve in the military and protect our freedoms we all cherish.

The North Bullitt JROTC program had the honor of presenting the colors for the opening ceremony of the CTE Conference at the Galt House in Louisville, KY.

The color guard was commanded by Landon Johns. Aiden McCoy, Brelynn Mitchell and Madison Holmes participated in the color guard.

We are grateful for the opportunity provided by the KY DAI team for reaching out. Our cadets are extremely honored and proud to represent our school, our community and the JROTC program at a prestigious event.

COL Macdonald and CSM Hooper presented several of our cadets coins of excellence for their outstanding performance.

The North Bullitt JROTC program would like to congratulate Fabio Cuba Averhoff on his recent enlistment in the United States Army, with the Kentucky National Guard.

Fabio enlisted as a 12N (Horizontal Construction Engineer). Fabio has been diligent with his research about serving in the military. Today, Fabio made the decision to serve his country, further his leadership, and he’s looking forward to pursuing the remarkable education benefits the National Guard offers.

Fabio will attended Basic Training after he completes his senior year, in the summer of 2027.

Thank you for your decision to serve in the military and protect our freedoms we all cherish.

The North Bullitt JROTC program would like to congratulate Aiden McCoy on his recent completion of Summer Leaders Experience at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Aiden has strong desires to attend West Point and become an Army officer.

Led by current West Point cadets, Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) is a five-day immersion into a West Point cadet's academic, military, and social life. SLE is for rising high school seniors who are interested in learning more about West Point and the qualities required to succeed as a cadet.

At SLE, you will explore West Point from all angles, including our high-tech academic facilities, team-building athletic activities, and realistic military training. You'll also gain firsthand insight into the character, determination, commitment to excellence, and leadership skills expected of West Point cadets.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Aiden.
