This week has been Childhood Cancer Awareness Week, and unfortunately, childhood cancer is something that has impacted the North Bullitt community in a very real way.
Tonight, when our Eagles take the field, we will be playing for more than just the name across our chest. Our football team will be paying respect to three former Eagles whose lives were taken far too soon:
🎗️ Taylor Meredith
🎗️ Jesse Schott
🎗️ Isabelle Coy
Tonight, we will have posters representing each of them, and our team will also be flying a Childhood Cancer Awareness flag as we take the field.
It's a small gesture, but one we hope shows their families that Taylor, Jesse, and Isabelle have not been forgotten. Their lives, their stories, and the impact they made on North Bullitt will always be a part of our school and our community.
Some things are bigger than football. Tonight is one of those nights.
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
