Shepherd University Foundation The Shepherd University Foundation receives & administers private gifts for the benefit of Shepherd.

For nearly 60 years, the Shepherd University Foundation has strengthened the work and service of Shepherd University. The Foundation receives and administers private funds for student scholarships, academic and program support, and faculty excellence awards as well as other university initiatives such as campus renewal and beautification. Located on the campus of Shepherd University in historic McMurran Hall, the office houses a professional staff of five and is led by an independent volunteer board of directors. Our success is a direct result of our generous donors who have helped to make a difference in the lives of thousands of Shepherd students over the decades.

The Scholar Spotlight this week shines on psychology major Zoe Boyd! Zoe is a recipient of the Rubye Clyde McCormick Scholarship. This award was established to support students in the Honors Program who demonstrate extraordinary academic achievement and leadership potential.

"This scholarship has allowed me to begin to save money to put toward graduate school finances and other costs for continuing higher education," said Zoe.
"I am very grateful to the Shepherd University Foundation, all donors, and Dr. Brasher from the Honors program for providing me with the funds to support my education. Thank you all!"

The President’s Club annual fall breakfast was held on Saturday, October 3 at historic Popodicon, home of Shepherd President Dr. Cameron Wesson. 25 members and guests gathered before the home football contest against Millersville to hear from Dr. Wesson about future plans for the university.

The President’s Club is one of Shepherd’s top leadership societies, which recognizes donors who make unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more for the president’s use toward important initiatives and programming needs. The Foundation thanks all of our wonderful donors who contribute to this vital funding source.
