Meet Christian, our Parliamentarian! A Level 3 nursing student, Christian has been part of SUSNA since Level 1, growing alongside the organization throughout his nursing journey.
After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in hospice or oncology nursing, where he can be there for patients and families during some of their most meaningful and challenging moments. Christian brings a compassionate presence to our board, and we’re truly lucky to have him as part of our team! ⚕️💉

Say hello to Claire, our Vice President! A Level 3 nursing student, Claire has been involved in SUSNA for 3 semesters and previously served as Project Manager as a Level 2.
After graduation, she plans to continue working in prehospital emergency care while pursuing a path towards forensic nursing and hopes to find meaningful ways to work with children along the way. Claire brings a strong sense of purpose and passion for diverse areas of nursing, and we’re excited to have her helping guide SUSNA this semester! 🩺

Meet Rosa Marquez, serving on our Standing Committee as a Board Member At Large! Rosa is a Level 3 nursing student who has been involved in SUSNA for 3 semesters. She previously served as a PIT Recruiter in Level 2, helping welcome and connect future nurses to our organization and to the national nursing chapter.
After graduation, Rosa is interested in working in the Emergency Department and pursuing aesthetic medicine. We’re so glad to have her energy and experience supporting our team this year! 💙✨🩺

Hi! My name is Emily Speranza, and I’m the President of SUSNA and a Level 4 nursing student. I’ve been involved with SUSNA since I started nursing school, and it has truly been one of the best parts of my experience at Shepherd. After graduation, I hope to begin my career as an ICU nurse! 🩺💉

Introducing Technic Nelson, our Treasurer! A Level 4 nursing student, Technic has been part of SUSNA for 6 semesters—including 4 semesters serving as an officer and 2 as a pre-nursing student. After graduation, Technic plans to work in the Emergency Department, with a long-term goal of specializing in Shock Trauma. We’re so lucky to have Technic helping keep SUSNA organized and thriving!! 🩺
