🛡️ Celebrating Our Amazing Campus Security Officer! 💙

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate National Security Officer Appreciation Week and honor someone who means so much to our campus community — Officer Markee! 👏

Officer Markee is truly such an asset to our campus. Every day, he helps make our school a safer, more welcoming place for our students and staff, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and support he brings to our campus.

Whether he’s keeping watch, lending a helping hand, greeting students and staff, or simply being a familiar and reassuring presence, Officer Markee makes a difference every single day. 💙

We are so thankful for everything you do for our campus, Officer Markee! Your hard work, commitment, and presence do not go unnoticed.

We appreciate you more than words can say! Thank you for being such an important part of our campus family! 🛡️💙

All volunteers are required to fill out a new application each school year.
The application for the 2026-2027 school year is live as of Wednesday June 10, 2026.
All volunteers will need to submit a new application on or after Wednesday June 10, 2026 to be put on the 2026-2027 Approved Volunteers list.
Once your application has been approved, you are then approved for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year.
Every volunteer MUST have a background check run before they can approve them to volunteer or drive for ResponsiveEd.
This includes any parents that will be part of our PTO
The background check is run by a third party vendor and therefore cannot be expedited.
Typically, they are completed anywhere from 24 hours to 5 business days.
For this reason, parent volunteers need to apply early (two weeks in advance of the event) to ensure their application is approved on time.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day, including innocent civilians and brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We remember the firefighters, police officers, emergency workers, military members, and countless individuals who demonstrated extraordinary courage, compassion, and selflessness.

Patriot Day is more than remembering a tragic day in our nation's history. It is a reminder of the strength, courage, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable circumstances.
Today, we honor those we lost, remember the families who continue to carry their absence, and express our deepest gratitude to the heroes who served and sacrificed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
