This is the official page of the Jefferson High School (Shenandoah Junction, WW) Charisma Dance Ensemble, an auditioned ensemble of technically trained or natural skilled dancers that perform a variety of dance styles. The JHS Charisma Dance Ensemble performs at community, regional and state events, as well as, dance festivals. The JHS Charisma Dance Ensemble i a part of the JHS Dance Department.

Let’s give a warm welcome to our Charisma Leadership for the 2026-2027 season! To obtain these positions, each member had to apply, interview, and survey teachers on their academic standing. The positions were chosen by our director, Mrs. Crawford, and were based on each individuals passion to communicate, adapt, and lead a group of ensemble members. Congratulations girls, you all strive to shine! 🩷✨

DAY 6: PAJAMA 💤🛏️😴

Friday was an early morning as we took our media photos on the field! Thank you !! We are so excited to see how they turn out! Throughout the day we spent time reviewing choreo for our performance, and the show was great! We loved giving everyone a sneak peak of our season and getting all the jitters out before performing these dances in front of a real crowd! Thank you to all our family, friends, and alumni for coming back to watch us! 🩷

It’s almost the end of the week! Our Tuesday tie dye activity turned out so cute and we even have some matching bedazzled sunglasses… can you guess what they’re for? 🤔

Our Thursday was spent reviewing Thrift Shop and learning our second jazz/pom, Pon de Replay, choreographed by Charisma Leadership - Kayden Weaver, Clara Adams, and Jeimy Elizondo! We are excited for our friends and family performance, as well as football season to start! ✨🐾

DAY 4: WESTERN 🤠🐎👢🐂

We spent our Wednesday afternoon with for some jazz technique! Her energy was on fire and she was a pleasure to work with! She pushed us to our comfort zone and we are more prepared than ever for our pom pieces! Thank you!! 🩷

Our evening consisted of learning our hip hop piece, Thrift Shop, choreographed by Kayden Weaver, Jeimy Elizondo, and Ella Pfeiffer! We are SO excited to perform it at our first home football game this season! ✨

We started off the day by tie dying some shirts for our theme on Thursday and went into learning our jazz/pom piece, Telephone! This piece is student choreographed by Clara Adams (senior) and Jacinda Smith (junior). These girls excelled in creativity and we honor their commitment to creating an outstanding performance piece! We are blessed to have choreograph our pep rally hip hop routine! His vision for this piece is truly one of a kind. We are thankful for him and his time, as he put an extreme amount of effort into making sure we were comfortable with all choreo! You were SO fun to work with and we’ll be cheering you on to wherever your dance journey takes YOU! 💛✨

Charisma had an amazing first day of camp with ! We loved her creativity, kindness, and dedication to put together such a meaningful piece. We are blessed and beyond excited to perform this piece in the future!
