Attention students! Do you need community service hours? Stop by and give back to our alumni by working at their corn booth at the Jefferson County Fair on Wednesday August 19th 2026 from 5-7 or 7-9. Sign ups are on the bulletin board in the AG hallway!

Jefferson FFA Members started the summer strong by attending the 97th Annual West Virginia FFA State Convention! Members competed and participated in a wide variety contests and activities while at Cedar Lakes this year.

Aaron Sanderson- won a second place $5,000 WyoTech Scholarship.

Morgan Grove- served as the
Northeastern region representative on the State Nominating Committee
Team.

Jess Toms, Morgan Grove, and Kayleny Payne- earned their State FFA
Degrees.

Avery Baione and Collin Engle- Played in the State FFA Band.

Grace Ott- retired her Central Region State FFA Vice President at Large position.

Abby Blue, Aaron Sanderson, Katherine Selby, and Kayla DuVal served as State Courtesy Corps Members.

Cali Raley, Abigail Daniel, Sophie Sepulveda, Raelyn Buckler, Ella Carroll, Jillian Owens, and Audrey Milner- placed 3rd in the Code of Conduct contest at the state level.

If you are showing poultry at JC Fair, there will be Mandatory blood testing for ALL poultry on July 30 & 31 (7-9pm) at fairgrounds.

Tests cannot be completed on entry day!

Jefferson FFA members showing livestock at JC Fair- the Mandatory Livestock Exhibitor meeting will be July 18th at 6:30 pm in show barn.

Jefferson FFA continued serving the community by painting a storage building at the JC Fairgrounds today! Great job everyone!

These awesome Jefferson FFA and Washington FFA members worked this morning clearing weeds from our Ag Land Lab potato garden. These potatoes will be harvested later and donated to the community as part of our Project Feed JC initiative! FFA members are invited to come join us at our next workday at JHS on June 30th at 8 am. This is a great way to earn community service hours towards FFA degrees, graduation and more!
