We will open to our Shelton School District families starting next week: Tuesday, Sept. 15th 4-5pm.

Regular times for walk-in needs will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4-5pm.

We have clothes of all sizes, toothbrushes, shoes and some school supplies. We can help connect you with resources for food, parenting classes, medical appointments, and other needs.

Welcome back, Bulldogs! 🐾

A huge shout-out to our amazing Specialist Team — Mr. Hill (Art), Ms. Daniel (Performing Arts), Mr. Niemi (P.E.), and Mrs. Omdahl (Library) — for kicking off the year with an awesome Welcome Back assembly! 🐾 My name is Kadie Holien and I am entering my first year in education. I have worked with children since I was 16 ranging from gym daycares to YMCA after school programs to a yearlong student internship at an alternative options school in Olympia. I attended the University of Oregon for my undergrad and just graduated from the Evergreen State College with a Masters in Teaching in June. Outside of school, I coach two hip hop dance teams that perform across Western Washington. When I’m not working, I love to read, spend time with friends and family, and watch movies snuggled up with my dog, Koda (especially in the colder months!). I couldn’t be more excited to start my journey in third grade here at Bordeaux! 🐾

🐾 We have a couple more fabulous educators to introduce to the Bulldog community!🐾

Hi Bulldogs! My name is Mara Klashorst, and I'm so excited to join the Bordeaux Elementary team as a first-grade teacher! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, growing, and fun.
I have my Master’s in Teaching and am currently working toward my Reading Endorsement. One of my favorite things about teaching is watching young learners grow in both their skills and confidence.
Outside of school, I am married and have two teenagers. Our oldest is heading off to college in the next couple of weeks! My family loves to travel and spend time outdoors—we enjoy hiking, kayaking, and parasailing. We're also huge fans of all things soccer!
I'm thrilled to be part of the Bordeaux community, and I can't wait to meet my students and their families!

Another successful Free hair cut event! ❤️

It was such a fulfilling and wholesome evening. We had more than double the students come compared to last year! It was also so sweet seeing kids quickly grab a book and start reading while they waited. 📚

A huge thank you to Mrs. Kimball and the other beauticians that volunteered their time to provide this wonderful resource to our community. We also want to thank our staff that assisted with the event- Mrs. Watkins, Mr. O'Neil, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Ballew, Ms. Berbells, Ms. Adkisson, Mrs. Barkman, Ms. Fesenbek, and Ms. Thorton! 🐾
