This November, the Kumon Community will have the opportunity to support the goal of quality education by giving the gift of reading!

Kumon Centers across the US and Canada will take part in the 2022 Kumon Book Drive. Families are invited to donate new or gently used books at participating centers. Today is National Siblings Day! Tetsuma and Hiroto are brothers who both started their Kumon journeys at the age of three years old while living in Japan. When they made the move to the U.S. in 2019, they were able to resume the Kumon Math Program. Meet Angel. This young Kumon Math Student began his Kumon journey when he was just three years old. Angel’s mother saw a change in him immediately after enrolling, and his parents continued to motivate and support him. Kumon was able to increase his focus, and he naturally became faster not only in math, but also his reading, vocabulary, and comprehension. Recently, Angel was awarded and recognized on the Kumon’s President List and ranked 47/9699 students in Kindergarten for Math.

Along with these skills, Angel has developed a very entrepreneurial spirit. He has created several business ideas that are inspired by his everyday life. We can’t wait to see what else he will accomplish in and out of the classroom!
