Just a quick reminder that there are only two weeks left to guarantee your official 2026 Shelton Stampede 4th of July Run shirt!

To ensure you receive a shirt in your preferred size, please register by June 25th. After that date, only a limited number of extra shirts will be available and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Hurdle Nerd, aka Mike Peterson (former O'Neill coach, current O'Neill St. Mary's coach), is once again offering free hurdles clinics this summer. Starting next week and continuing through July 30th, sessions are 7:00-8:00 am at:

Tuesday - O'Neill HS 7-8 am
Wednesday - Neligh-Oakdale HS 7-8 am
Wednesday - Creighton 8:30-9:30 am
Thursday - West Holt 7-8 am

Wood River will once again host a throwing camp on Thursday, June 18th, from 9 am - 1 pm. Come learn from Derek Frese, throwing coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. We had multiple state medalists and a state champion participate in last year's meet. Great opportunity to learn with some of the best in the area.

Announcing year two of the RAM Track Camp!

This is a camp on June 29 and June 30 for youth entering grades 4-9, with a special high jump session led by Husker All-American Karsyn Leeling available to high school students too.

The camp will introduce the training and techniques in the various track events, including a particular emphasis on speed and explosion applicable to multiple sports. It will be held at Kearney Catholic’s new track complex and will feature coaches with collegiate racing and training experience. We will also discuss nutrition, race preparation, and have fun! On July 1 we will hold an optional, fun youth track competition in the evening for everyone to shine. It will be part of a larger running festival with activities, prizes, sponsors and a race for adults called The Eliminator.
