Ms Jen’s Preschool time is now accepting students from the ages of 2-5 for preparation of Elementary school . This Shelton home based program is on MWF from 8AM-3PM. Please contact me for more details. Jennifer Durette

Preschool Time

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00PM
Cost $300 per week

Ms. Jen’s Nursery School is a nurturing environment. It is in a safe and comfortable home environment where new friends can come together to learn and play.
The entire day is dedicated to your child's development in preparation for Primary Schooling. The focus on educating through the use of fundamentals such as use of colors and shapes, reading and writing while interacting with other children. Social interaction skills such as communicating, collaborating, and decision making are a primary focus in the learning setting.

We maintain a very low student to teacher ratio(6:1).As a result the students are able to get a lot of individual attention to achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Teaching Children Key Values in a Safe and Happy Learning Environment:
social skills - patience - kindness - manners – independence

Children will learn colors, shapes, letters, reading, and writing, while also exploring their own creativity through different arts and crafts activities. Children will be able to receive one-on-one attention in this smaller group setting while also engaging with one another and developing our key values. To help release some of that silly toddler energy, we’ll also head outside to our fully fenced backyard playground where the children will be able to free-play outdoors and dance along to music!


About Me

Hi! My name is Jen Durette, and I am a proud mom of four children, ages 21 to 7. I have worked in childcare for 30+ years, 25 of which was spent running my own in-home daycare in Huntington, CT! After taking this past year to refresh and recharge, I am re-opening my doors for Ms. Jen’s Preschool Time!

$300 per week
o Payment is due on Monday for each week. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Venmo and checks
o Holidays and sick days are paid days
o Includes 1-week paid vacation
