🇺🇸🥔 A little history, a lot of Idaho, and some very special Spuds!

Sunrise Elementary had a special Constitution Week assembly as students learned about America’s founding and Idaho’s celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday!

Our Sunrise Spuds had some extra-special visitors—the Revolutionary Spuds, including Alexander Hamiltater! Students learned about the Declaration of Independence, listened to “Forever Idaho,” a song created especially for Idaho’s America 250 celebration, and even received trading cards featuring the Revolutionary Spuds.

One of the highlights was having our students add their own signatures to a replica of the Declaration of Independence. They were also reminded that they are ambassadors too—representing their school, their community, Idaho, and America. ❤️🤍💙

What a fun and memorable way for our Sunrise Spuds to bring history to life!

Happy Constitution Week! 🇺🇸🥔
