And just like that, week one and two are complete! Week one was all about building a community of learners who trust and respect each other. Week two we focused on reading stamina, and proving some benchmarks for learning.

It's very exciting to start my 16th year teaching. These past few years I have really found the perfect age group to spend most of my days with. Many look at me with a shocked expression when I say that, "I love teaching Middle School," but it's the truth! I love teaching my middle schoolers and helping them find a passion for reading and writing. Cheers to another great year of growing as a learner, right alongside my kiddos
