I want to thank all the visitors to the Lighted Holiday Forest this year. Whether you braved the snow and cold temperatures or enjoyed the warm days of Christmas and the 26th, your attendance will help fund a number of programs for students at Shelbyville High School.

I also want to thank WISH-TV and the Addison Times https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=addison%20times%20shelbyville for the coverage of the event. We had a number of guests tell us they read about it in the Addison Time or saw the story on WISH-TV.

I want to thank all the students and teachers at the high school who worked to set up and staff the event, and Coulston PTO, which opened an extra night for their school.

I could not have done this without the support of my wife and children as they handed out flyers, made social media posts, sewed up holes in inflatables and so much more. We already are thinking ahead to next year to make the event even better.

SPECIAL EVENT!
OPENING CHRISTMAS DAY - 6 to 9 p.m.
Enjoy 60-degree weather with a walk through the lighted forest! 40,000+ lights and more than 30 inflatables.

(Also open on Friday, Dec. 26, 6 to 9 p.m.)

Cost: $5 per individual or $10 for a family. (Cash or electronic payment at event)

Location: Ecology Lab, behind the softball diamonds at Shelbyville High School (SHS)

Proceeds support clubs at Shelbyville High School and the continued redevelopment of the Ecology Lab.

Parking in SHS North Parking lot by the softball diamonds.

The Ecology Lab trails are primarily mulch-covered.
Dress for the weather and wear shoes good for walking. No open-toed shoes.

TONIGHT! Walk through a winter wonderland of more than 40,000 holiday lights. Fridays in December - Dec. 5, 12, 19 & 26
Plus Saturday, Dec. 20 benefitting Coulston Elementary PTO

Proceeds support clubs at Shelbyville High School and the continued redevelopment of the Ecology Lab.

Hosting clubs are: FFA on Dec. 5, Champions Together on Dec. 12, Latin Club on Dec. 19, Speech and Debate on Dec. 26.
