Fundraiser will be closing tomorrow, Monday, Oct 5th! If you only did online sales you need to do nothing else, if you collected orders in person please send in forms and money, please make sure your child’s name, teacher and a phone number is listed on the form for any questions. Thank you for all who participated this helps out our school in so many ways!

Wright jets, please remember to get your student registered for the fundraiser and share this info with as many people as possible! There are a couple of different coupons in your packet that can be turned in for prizes after adding contacts onto your fundraiser page or selling items. After you fill this coupon out your child can bring this to school and see Mrs. Lumbatis for their prize! Thank you!

Wright Jets, fundraiser packets should be coming home today with your student, please help us to raise money to fund things at our school throughout the year for our students and our staff! Examples of what this money has been used for in the past:
The book vending machine in the cafeteria
New outdoor tables have just been purchased for the outside area on the playground
Lunch for staff appreciation
Inflatables, games and snacks for field day
Please help us out and share our post!

We are accepting nominations for 2026/27 school year for officers of the PTO. I’m attaching a form that list some of the duties of the officers and if you have any questions, please reach out. You can email any nominations to ShelbyWrightPTO@Gmail

PTO Officer Nominations

PTO is taking nominations for next school year 26-27 officers. There is a brief explanation of duties expected by officers below. You can nominate yourself or someone else and we will check to make sure you accept that nomination before proceeding with the election. To vote in the election you do have to be a current PTO member or school staff member. Email us with any questions! Offices are held for one year starting July 1, 2026. [email protected]

The PTO President serves as the leader of the group and a key contact for members, officers and constituents. The President presides at all meetings and events and ensures all efforts are being directed toward meeting the group’s goals and objectives.

The PTO vice President is there to assist the President and step in at meetings or events for the President or work along with the President.

The PTO Treasurer is responsible for all funds that pass through the organization’s doors. This includes money collected at events and fundraisers as well as the disbursement of funds. The treasurer is also responsible for ensuring accurate bookkeeping and submitting all necessary forms and reports to school board.

The PTO Secretary maintains the group’s calendar of events and keeps a log of important notes from all general meetings. Maintaining an accurate history of key points discussed at each meeting is vital to keeping communication open and transparent.

All officers work together to make decisions for our school and also work with our PTO volunteers.
