the 60th class reunion is in the books. Clyde took lots of pics and should have them posted on the shelbyville65.com website to view. We ended the day this morning with an uplifting service with Jim and Gayle Cox. Then off to the Lakeview for brunch. If you missed the festivities this weekend, the class decided to have an 80th birthday party in 2 years. We would love to hear how and where you would like to celebrate. For those who travel a long distance it’s nice to have activities on Friday, Saturday and end with a Praise service on sunday morning. Thanks to all who helped in any way.

SHS class of 1965 60th class reunion September 19,20,21.
Informal meet at the VFW Friday evening, 10 am Saturday tour the old jail now the historical society, 5 pm Saturday evening meeting and dinner at the VFW, Sunday 10 am Lake Shelbyville Visitors center church service with Jim and Gayle Cox, all for $20 per person. Send reservations to Sally Lash. All information will be on shelbyville65.com next week.

Class of ‘65 60th reunion September 20
Friday night informal gathering at the VFW, 7 pm. Easy access for those who can’t climb stairs.

Saturday morning 10 am,tour the SC Historical Society, the old jail on South Washington.

Saturday night 5:30 pm, VFW. Catch up and Renew old friendships. 6:30 pm dinner, followed by a short business meeting.

Sunday morning Lake Shelbyville visitors center outside pavilion worship service conducted by Jim and Gayle Cox. For those who want to gather one last time meet for lunch at the Lakeview across the road from the visitors center.

Classmates from the class of 1965. It's so sad that we have lost 4 classmates since October of 2023. Cheryl Richardson Young, passed in October, Suzie Hulick Robison passed in December, Kenny Plowman in January and Delores Mose Blackwell in April.

Most likely we will plan a 60th class reunion in 2025. If you have never attended a reunion please consider. It's such a good time to reminisce with old classmates!
