Dr. Carla Kent is the principal at Shelby County High School. Dr. Kent has brought an uplifting personality to SCHS. Her smile is infectious and she shares her love of learning daily with students, staff, and families.

GOOD MORNING SCHS ALUM:

We are so excited to launch our updated logo. We’ve been working with a team for about a year and we love what they’ve come up with.

Our goal: Keep it a little old school and a little new. We love tradition here at SCHS, so we didn’t want a new logo, just cleaner and a little more modern, but still in keeping with our rich heritage.

Now that the building refresh is almost done, we think it’s the perfect time to share the new look. Old logo on the left, new one on the right. What do you think?
