We are exited to celebrate our 2026 Gradates!! Pleas take note of this important information in reference to graduation:
The TPA Graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Cleveland County Schools Board Room.

Admission is by ticket only. All guests must enter through the Turning Point entrance located at 409 W. Sumter Street. For the safety and security of all attendees, everyone entering the building will be required to pass through a metal detector.

Please note that bags of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the building.

Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and will close promptly at 2:45 p.m. No entry will be permitted after 2:45 p.m. Please make every effort to arrive on time!!

What a great day to be a Phoenix!! College Day at TPA!! Staff represented their college/university with pride as we walked the halls to show our students that all things are possible tor those who believe!!! !!!!

This week our staff received appreciation from Shelby Presbyterian Church in honor of Teacher Appreciation week!!! A candy bar on Monday; breakfast and bagels on Tuesday; a kit-Kat break on Wednesday; Chic-fil-A biscuits Anita Ware thank you; and lunch on Thursday; and snacks and drinks on today!! Our hearts are full from the selfless love shown to our staff!! Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude!!!

Today was a good day at TPA!! Panera Bagels for breakfast from one of our favorites and snacks from Shelby Pres woohoooo!!! What a great way to slide into a break!! !!

We are incredibly grateful for our community partners and all they do to support our students. Today we want to give a special shout out to Austin Costner!! Thank you for blessing our students with school supplies through the Cleveland County Mid-Year School Supply Drive!!! We appreciate you!!

Due to the impact of two major winter storms and lost school time, Cleveland County Schools will be making a few calendar updates for the 2025–2026 school year to make sure students get the instructional hours they need.

Key updates:
• Feb 12: Full school day (Parent conferences start at 3:30 PM)

• Feb 13: Remote learning day (asynchronous)

• March 13: Now an in-person school day
K-Day will still happen as scheduled
Current Kindergarten students will not attend
Pre-K classes will be closed

• Starting March 2: Some schools will add minutes to the school day to reach at least 7 hours.

Spring Break will not be affected by these changes.

***Weather Alert for Tuesday, February 3, 2026***

Due to hazardous road conditions and the presence of snow and ice on many roads following this weekend’s winter storm, all Cleveland County Schools will be closed for students on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Tuesday, February 3rd, will be an optional workday for teachers and staff. Any employees choosing to work may delay the start of their day until 11:00 am and should be mindful of road conditions before beginning their morning commute.

Those employees choosing to work should use caution during their commute and while on campus.

Please take care, stay warm, and use caution if you are traveling.

Due to the heavy snowfall and challenging travel conditions as a result of the recent winter storm and extreme temperatures across our community, all Cleveland County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, February 2, 2026. This closure includes all 10, 11, and 12-month employees.

We encourage everyone to remain safe and use extreme caution over the coming days.
