We are so proud to share that Mrs. Ashley Blanton has been named a finalist for Cleveland County Teacher of the Year! 🎉

This recognition comes as no surprise to those of us at Washington Elementary. Mrs. Blanton pours her heart into her students each and every day, creating a classroom where children feel challenged and inspired to do their very best.

We are honored to celebrate this incredible achievement with her and we are so grateful for all she does for our students, families, and school community. 💙🐬

Special thanks to Office Depot in Shelby for raising money for our school! Our teachers were able to get some amazing supplies for their classrooms! The store will continue to raise money over the next few months so feel free to donate. 😁
