💜💛 Our Terriers had a busy day last Thursday. Our 3rd- and 5th-grade students took their ELA Check-Ins. Our Pre-K through 2nd-grade students got to hear from the Polkville Fire Department about fire safety, and our 2nd-grade students got to participate in a Life Cycle Presentation by Cleveland County Soil and Water. Pre-K also did a great job on their field trip to Shelby High School for the play "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." We are grateful to our community partners for making it a great day! 💛💜

💜💛 We may not have won the Upper Cleveland Attendance Zone Challenge, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating our Terriers! 💛💜

Every student who came to school on Friday, 10/2, got a little surprise attendance reward… they got to throw water balloons at Mrs. Edwards and Mr. Love!

Our students had a BLAST, and honestly, so did we! It was a fun way to celebrate our students for simply showing up and being at school.

And this won’t be the last one! 👀 We’ll have many more attendance rewards throughout the year as we continue to celebrate our students for making every day count.

Thank you, Terriers, for showing up and giving us your all! 💜💛🐾
