Few leaders leave a legacy that will be felt for generations. Dr. Shelly Shope is one of them.

After 28 years in education, including 23 years in educational leadership, Dr. Shope has officially retired, leaving an immeasurable impact on Pinnacle Classical Academy.

Since joining Pinnacle Classical Academy in 2016, she faithfully served as Dean of Elementary, Headmaster, and CEO, leading our school through seasons of tremendous growth and transformation. From overseeing campus renovations and expansions to guiding our community through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining five full days of in-person instruction, her steadfast leadership helped shape the Pinnacle we know today.

Perhaps Dr. Shope's greatest legacy is the people she invested in along the way. She empowered leaders, cultivated a culture of excellence, and was a passionate champion for our students, faculty, staff, and athletic programs.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Shelly Shope on her retirement and thanking her for the lasting legacy she leaves at Pinnacle Classical Academy. We wish her all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations, Will Brooks!!!

Congratulations to PCA alumnus and current Gardner-Webb University student Will Brooks, whose FBLA Finance Team recently earned 2nd Place in the Nation at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Las Vegas!

Competing against some of the nation’s top business students, Will and his teammates demonstrated exceptional financial knowledge, teamwork, and professionalism.

We are proud to see one of our Eagle alumni achieving success on the national stage and representing both PCA and Gardner-Webb University so well.

Big wins. Bigger opportunities 💼

Gardner-Webb business students are making moves on the state stage, earning top honors at the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference.

A first-place finish in the Finance Case competition secured a spot at nationals this summer, while another student placed in accounting, proving that what’s learned in the classroom translates directly into real-world success. From late nights of preparation to high-level presentations, this is what growth, teamwork, and leadership look like in action.
