While Cottage Learning was being built, I would walk around the grounds and pray that God would send the right students at the right time for this fall, and He did. We’ve had a great time learning about goats, sheep, and homesteading. This is a picture taken of our last homesteading class. As you can see, we planted a fall garden. Today, Homesteading students learned about animal trapping and learned how to make a rabbit trap. Sheep and Goats students learned about parasites, the FAMACHA score, and watched a demonstration of the FAMACHA exam. I think the sheep may have enjoyed the lesson—except Mama Mercy. She was the subject of our FAMACHA examination!
