Program Spotlight: State Tested Nurses Aide (STNA)
STNAs are an in demand career and serve a vital role in day to day direct patient care for patients in hospitals and nursing home residents. Earning your STNA can also be a stepping stone to earning an LPN or RN license. Pioneer offers evening STNA classes beginning in September, December, and March. We also offer day and evening classes in June. Financial Aid options are available and STNA also qualifies for the Adult High School Diploma. Program Spotlight: CCMA
The Pioneer Adult Education Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program leads a career in the fast paced medical field. Students will learn a wide range of skills during the program including Phlebotomy, CPR, ECG, office management, HIPAA, OSHA, medical terminology, and anatomy and physiology. The program also includes a 40 hour externship of on the job training. During the 2020-2021 school year, the program featured a 100% credential passage and placement rate. Classes start at the end of August and are offered at the Pioneer campus in Shelby. STNA and Welding are also available in Bucyrus.
