Basic Officer On-Boarding for Successful Teams (BOOST) is 24-hours of training designed to “BOOST” the career of the detention officer. The training is to prepare the detention officer for a successful career, even before DOCC and FTO. Our very own Retired Captain’s Phyllis Sims and Jon Wright created this training opportunity and the success of it has been immense. Congratulations to the most recent detention officers who completed BOOST at Cleveland Community College.

Recently, Casar Volunteer Fire Department hosted an Emergency Vehicle Driving (EVD) class. Members from Casar, Fallston, and South Mountain Fire Departments came together to sharpen their driving skills, enhance safety on the road, and enjoy some great teamwork along the way.

It was a valuable training experience and a great time for everyone involved!
