Wow what a weekend for an Outdoor Field Target State Tournament! A big thanks to our PCA Thunderbird Sponsors Norris Merchandise and Steffes for your support this season!

The Thunderbirds had a highlight reel type weekend. It consisted of:
Team Podium Finishes -
• Eagle, Youth, and Young Adult teams bringing State Titles back to PCA (Time for some more banners at upper and lower campus)!

• 5 individual State Champions
• 4 individual State Runner-ups
• 3 third place finishes

Our first NC S3DA Archery Outdoor Field Target Qualifier was a blast! Literally sometimes it was blasting rain, and sometimes a little wind. After all was said and done we had fun slinging arrows! It’s what we do best! We are very proud of all PCA Thunderbirds! Keep Soaring! Go Thunderbirds!!!!!!

PCA Eagles Athletics is incredibly proud of our archery team, the Thunderbirds, and their outstanding success at the North Carolina S3DA 3-D Outdoor State Championship Match this past weekend! First i want to start this post off with a simple but huge “Thank You” to our PCA Thunderbird Coaching Staff and Archery Parents! We have the best Coaches and Parents in NC. This year wouldn’t be possible without you!

Now let us discuss the NC State S3DA Championship.
What a weekend! You can be prepared, have all your equipment in good working order, and then you got to go out and execute! In archery that’s so much easier said than done. Ex*****on is a combination of good form, target/course management, mental toughness, smart decision making process and just going out and having fun. I’m so proud of our 2026 Thunderbird Archery program. Remember it’s not over yet so Keep Soaring!!!
