🍎Our Shelby cafeteria teams are serving up some FUN food facts for our School Lunch Hero Day! 😋

🍊 Orange you impressed? PK-8 goes through 72 #10 cans of mandarin oranges when General Tso or Sweet & Sour Chicken is on the menu!

🍲 It takes 90 pounds of ground beef to make 900 servings of Frito Flip chili!

🚦 Four serving lines help PK-8 serve 900–950 lunches a day!

🍕 Pizza, deli wraps, chef salads, Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and even made-from-scratch spice cake? Now THAT'S something!

Behind every meal is a hardworking team of 24 food service heroes preparing around 1,300 lunches and 600 breakfasts every day across four kitchens!

To our amazing cafeteria staff, THANK YOU for serving up delicious meals and making a difference for our Whippets every day! ❤️

Undefeated. Unstoppable. All Whippet Pride.

🎆 A HUGE thank-you to the Shelby Eagles F.O.E. 763 for donating the fireworks and to our Shelby Athletic Boosters for helping make tonight even more special. We appreciate your support.

📚❤️ Nearly 90 minutes after the school day ended, Mr. Myers was seen supporting a student who asked for extra help.

That’s the kind of dedication that makes a difference! Thank you, Mr. Myers, for going the extra mile and making sure our students know someone has their back.

We’re grateful for educators who show up, stay late, and never stop investing in our students!

What an amazing evening with our fall student-athletes as they helped promote literacy with our young Whippets! 📖🐾

Thank you to our athletes for being such wonderful role models and showing our younger students that being a student-athlete means so much more than what happens on the field.

We’re proud of you, Whippets! Keep leading, inspiring, and making a difference! ❤️🤍
