Proud to be one of the 12 colleges selected for the Careers Electric Summer Electrical Academies! Cleveland Community College currently has 18 students in the program, and we couldn't be more excited to see them build real skills that lead to real careers. This is exactly the kind of partnership that strengthens our workforce right here in North Carolina.

Through the generous support of the Siemens Foundation’s groundbreaking $9.5 million total investment into the Careers Electric initiative, NCBCE is launching 12 Summer Electrical Academies skilling 220 students at community colleges across North Carolina. In February, Governor Stein and the Siemens Foundation launched the program to train 25,000 North Carolinians for electrical careers within 10 years.

“North Carolina’s greatest strength is its people, and the state’s continued growth starts with an investment in our future workforce,” said Governor Josh Stein.

✨ Turning Career Dreams into Reality! ✨

Through the Rise to Success program, students can launch their healthcare careers with incredible support. Atrium Health covers tuition, textbooks, activity fees, and scrubs, while students gain valuable experience working in an entry-level position as they complete their degree or certification.

Lindsey is a shining example of what’s possible through this program! Her manager shared:

"The Rise to Success program has given us the ability to gauge how successful a potential employee is going to be. We can help build their skills and help guide them into a successful radiology career. Lindsey has been a wonderful teammate who we have had the pleasure to help guide and mentor into her career."

We are so proud of Lindsey and excited to see where her journey takes her. Stories like hers show the power of education, mentorship, and opportunity working together to build the next generation of healthcare professionals. 💙
