K-City Preschool & Child Enrichment Center K-City exists to partner with families and the community to provide quality preschool and childcare. K-City is a ministry of the Shelby Church of the Nazarene.

K-City is a community childcare center located in the Nazarene Community Center (formerly Russell Elementary building) at 111 E Whitney Ave. Our directors and teachers are committed to providing loving care and quality education in our clean, child-friendly environment. Our hours are M-F from 5:30am-6:00pm; we provide care to infants (6wks+), toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Our ce

nter is state certified, and we are set up with JFS to process subsidized childcare. Your child will love becoming a "resident" of K-City!

Snow days don’t have to mean boredom or extra screen time! Here are some easy indoor activities for toddlers & preschoolers that keep little bodies moving and minds engaged:

☃️ Indoor Snowball Toss
Cotton balls or rolled socks + a laundry basket = winter fun

🎨 Snow Art Studio
White paint on blue paper, crayons, or winter stickers

🧦 Move & Groove Obstacle Course
Pillows, tunnels, and taped lines for crawling, jumping, and balancing

📚 Cozy Reading Time
Snuggle up with blankets and favorite books
