Mathnasium is a math learning center for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject. They hate being confused and intimidated by math. With understanding comes passion.And with passion comes growth—a treasure is unlocked.

Memorizing the steps is one thing, but understanding why we do them makes all the difference. When we move to Step 2 and multiply the tens place, that placeholder zero is absolutely crucial! It reminds us that we aren't just multiplying by 2; we are multiplying by 20.
