5TH GRADE CLASS OF 2033

Shelby Public Schools would like to that the Oceana County Women Who Care for their generous donation to the Shelby Ride with Pride program.

The Ride with Pride program was started by the Norton Shores Police Department and has now spread to many other schools including Shelby and Hart. The Ride with Pride program asks that students make a pledge to abstain from unhealthy and unsafe behaviors, including making the correct choices at school, on the road and in their community. Living up to that pledge gives them the opportunity to win prizes, including the grand prize of a vehicle. The program, supported with ongoing student workshops, has drastically reduced behavioral problems in schools and in the community.
